How many years have you been living in your house? Doesn't really matter whether you just moved in or have been living there for years, looking at your kitchen you may feel it can be better - the layout, the cupboards, the stove and oven - the signs for a kitchen renovation are there.

Let's look at some of the indicators for the re-design and renovation of your kitchen.

Well, if it is coming apart at the seams a renovation is relly a must, isn't it? However, your falling apart and my falling apart aren't the same thing. But if:
  • there are holes in the kitchen walls
  • the kitchen cupboard are just not working as they should anymore
  • the kitchen floor and wall tiles are cracked and broken
  • the kitchen counter tops have gashes in them
  • the stove and oven need special knowledge to cook a meal
just maybe it's time for a kitchen makeover.

Your kitchen doesn't have to fall apart to need a renovation. Maybe, every time you have to work in the kitchen, certain things bother or frustrate you.
  • The cupboard for the pots and spices are too far from the stove.
  • Your kitchen counter tops are unhygienic to work on or your would just like a granite top.
  • You would like a breakfast counter so that the family can spend time together in the morning.
  • You would like a larger, or a smaller kitchen, maybe with a separate pantry and washing up area.
Obviously any kitchen renovation has cost and you have a budget to work in, so a kitchen renovation doesn't have to be a big and total kitchen remodelling job. Neither does everything have to done at the same time.

Start with the most important part first. Maybe replace your kitchen cupboards, or even just the counter tops. Or get the new stove and oven.

However, do a complete design of your new kitchen first, then work step-by-step to complete the kitchen renovation over time as money allows.
